Grant by John Asscheburneham of Assheburneham in the county of Sussex and John Lunseforde of Wylye in the same county, esquires, to Richard Sakevyle, knight, of the manor of Fayreswell in Fyncham in the county of Norfolk with all its members, etc., late parcel of the possessions of William, late viscount of Beamounte; which manor they had of the grant of Thomas Horseman of Sleforde in the county of Lincoln, gentlemen, by indenture dated 20 March, 5 Edward VI [1541]. The manor to be held of the queen in chief by service of 1/40 of a knight's fee. John Founteynes of Ore, yeoman, and Thomas Worseley of Tonbridge in the county of Kent are attorneys to deliver seisin. With a note on reverse of livery of seisin dated 13 May 1 Mary [I] in the presence of John Flud, Maurice Vahan, and John Griffiths.
